Game board material for selection:

Usually, game boards are made of gray cardboard laminated with art paper.

The art paper laminated for common game board is 157g.

The gray cardboard can be high density or medium density, thickness to be 1.0mm / 1.5mm / 2.0mm / 2.5mm / 3.0mm or designated thickness.

For the backside of the game board, it can be black special paper, C2S, CCNB or just keep original color of gray cardboard.

No matter how thickness of the game board, we can make them in multiple cutting folds.

Custom game board producing process:

The first step is to prepare materials to produce blank samples which are without artwork printing.

We will prepare the corresponding raw materials according to the customer's requirements, and send the blank samples to the customers for material and technical checking.

Some customer may need digital proof, we can also supply with it.

The second step is to cut the paper materials according to the printing size. For a six-fold game board, we need to cut the art paper, gray cardboard, and special paper in advance.

The third step is printing. The most important thing in printing is color accuracy. At Game Doer, we can guarantee customers with most perfect printing quality as all the printing machines we used are world most advanced facilities.

The fourth step is the surface treatment of printed paper. After printing, it will start surface treatment process, such as varnish, laminating, embossing, etc.

The fifth step is to make cutting tool which also called die tool. Since the paper will not shrink after surface treatment, it will be accurate to make a die based on current paper. The cut tools we use are imported, with sharp edges and durable.

The sixth step, Lamination. At Game Doer, we laminate both front art paper and back special paper by machine, which will ensure laminating accurate in largest. We can control deviation of front and back artwork within 0.5mm.

The seventh step is die punch. We use half-piercing die to cut through two-thirds of the position to be folded on the game board, so that the player can easily fold the game board, while not easy to break. A six-fold game board requires 3 indentations.

During the whole process, our professional QC will check product quality at each process.
