Wooden Meeples Producing Process:

1. When customer send us his design of custom wooden meeples, we will first confirm detail requirements with customer, like color, quantity, packing case and ect, so that we can prepare raw material in advance.

2. Make free samples, which is without painting and printing, for customer checking. Artwork file format can be .cdr .stl. step, stp, any other 3D formats.

Wooden material selection: There are three different kinds of wooden material for selection, each with it’s characteristics.

A. Multilayer boards, also called MDF.

The MDF is environmentally friendly and in low cost. But it’s not as durable as other two types of woods. The surface of MDF made products will peel off after using a long time.

B. Miscellaneous wood.

It’s a kind of wood that combined with different solid woods. The miscellaneous wood is harder than MDF.

C. Pure solid wood.

Such as maple, beech, etc. They are strong to avoid from deformation with high hardness.

And products made of pure solid wood is with smooth surface without any burr to hurt hands when touching.

3. When raw material comes to our warehouse, our professional QC will We inspect the woods, such as the moisture content of the materials. If the moisture content is more than 14%, woods must be dried at specific drying room. If the moisture content is below 14%, it can be directly used for mass production. This is because the high water content of the material will cause the product to deform and crack during usage.
